A three-piece bonnet with a flared brim and c shaped profile, the classic fashionable high brimmed or spoon bonnet of the 1860s.

The Mildred Augusta is available with three different shapes and a Marie Stuart option to span the American Civil War era. Brim 1 (late 1861 through 1862) is a moderately high brim flared at the cheek. Brim 2 (1862 through 1863) is a high brim still wide at the cheek making a rather large bonnet. Brim 3 (1863 through 1864) is a high brim narrow at the cheek. The pattern includes a 30 page instruction booklet complete with detailed illustrations.
