from original sources in our collection.
Lately, we received criticism for the lack of commentary to
accompany the plates. This series of books presents fashion
plates with descriptions from original sources in our personal
collections. Although useful in perfecting ones
impression, they are not a guide to dress or a survey of 19th
Century fashion.
