The Cordelia

1795-1810

Cordelia, referred to as the Charlotte Corday or the Directoire bonnet, appeared in the fashion plates between 1795 and 1810.  Characterized by a straight brim, the bonnet sits close around the wearers face.



The Cordelia pattern contains 4 brims and 4 crown/bavolet options.   The Cordelia bonnet is available from $125 completed and trimmed.
