Louisa Ann An 1840's Coal Scuttle Bonnet

Recreates the 1840's blocked crown coal scuttle bonnet. The style is marked by the horizontal line from the crown to the brim. The bonnet creates the classic 1840's horseshoe shaped silhouette.The Louisa Ann is available in four different depths to span the 1840's and a round version for early 1850's impressions.  The pattern includes a 20 page instruction booklet complete with detailed illustrations.

Available in silk over buckram  untrimmed from $135 or trimmed from $185.  Straw forms available in 1/2" hemp braid for $85.  Straw bonnet lined with bavolet from $140 or completely trimmed for $190.  Please email us for further information on straw forms and custom bonnets.
